Charity Support
The Hospital is run by a Charity called the Guru Gobind Singh Hospital Welfare Committee ( they are a registered charity).
The land is leased to them unfortunately the lease seems to be increasing . It was originally built as a collective by locals and community members named after Guru Gobind Singh Ji promoting equality, Seva and protection of humanity.
It’s main purpose is to provide affordable and in some cases free discretionary healthcare for individuals who otherwise would be unable to afford health care in rural areas.
It not only serves the village it is located in but neighbouring villages too and often ppl come far to be able to afford the healthcare.

Diagnosis & prescriptions
Healthcare checks
Dental services
Laboratory Tests /blood tests
Operations / Theatre
Eye Screening
Emergency Services ER 24/7
All supporting staff & trustees are unpaid . Only Drs & Nurses are paid . All other staff are volunteers.
Donations would go to wages for the Dr’s & Nurses and offering needy patients free care in exceptional cases.
The building does require a whole refit and new beds , air con and new equipment. It is very dated .
The impact this hospital makes is immeasurable; it gives services others patients could not afford and would die.
The long term vision would be to buy the land and rebuild the hospital and hopefully provide this service in more regions across punjab.
Healthcare should be accessible for all regardless of financial circumstances.
